Ready for your final exams 1-3ESO


HOW TO BE READY FOR YOUR FINAL EXAM

Dear students,
        I'm writing some instructions for you to be ready to pass your last exam.

SPEAKING: Try to use English as a language of communication in class.
Prepare a powerpoint with your classmates using vocabulary and expressions that you have learnt this year with me.

3ESO: A city/country.
1ESO: Alcudia Ruins (a tourist's questionnaire)

LISTENING: Here you have some resources:

Listen to the radio, TV, songs, native speakers ( if you can ) in English.

READING: You should read the texts from the book and the workbook ( U.1- 9 ) .
After that, answer the exercises to improve your reading comprehension.
In case you would like a higher mark: Read a book
( you can find English readers in the library)

WRITING:
Read the grammar reference pages ( U. 1- 9 ) and do the activities on your workbook.
Study the grammar rules, the list of verbs (translation) and the vocabulary
( U.1- 9 Student's book )
Practise your writing following the instructions on the writing pages according to the units 1 to 9 (Student's book)
Revise your SPLIT sessions' exercises on your notebook.

Read the text and answer the following questions:

2. Who was the emperor at that time?
3. Did St. Valentine like him?
4. What did St. Valentine do? What was his job?

7. What was the punishment that the Emperor ordered for him?

                   Look for the meaning of the following words and write them down on your notebook:

                   Make a list of verbs in 'present perfect' and 'past simple' according to the song.
